Municipal website and Flickr

We recently launched a website for one of our municipal clients, Byram Township.  There are a few items that we have added since the launch, including the ability to load all of their various meeting agendas and minutes.  Today, Ian added a Picture section which actually takes a feed from flickr.com.  This way the township staff can manage their pictures at Flickr and get multiple uses out of them.

Young Professionals, epilogue

We had about 20 people show up including Tammie Horsfield from the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce and Steve Skorski from HQW architects. I am happy to say that MSI had three gents in attendance; myself, Watson and Slim, our ace web developer (one of them anyway).  We’re planning on meeting again the first Thursday of May.  Location to be determined.  If you are interested in joining us, please contact myself, Steve or the Sussex Chamber office.

Sussex County Young Professionals Meeting

We’re meeting tonight at JC’s Grill on Spring Street in Newton for a couple of hours.  The purpose of the group is to foster business relationships between the “younger” generation.  Somehow, that includes me, so I’ll be quiet and not complain.  Looking forward to making some local business connections.

Scholar Athlete Banquet

Tomorrow evening is the annual SCIL Scholar Athlete awards dinner where high school seniors from the area are recognized for their accomplishments.  I’ve got the privilege to present at the event as a guest speaker.  This was a bit more work than I had anticipated, but the speech is ready (thanks to my wife and her relentless editing…), and I am looking forward to the event.

Sussex County Chamber Awards

Tonight is the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce Annual awards dinner.  MSI is nominated for the Entrepreneurial Success Award.  It was a fun event – though kind of annoying when people left once they determined that they didn’t win anything.  We were there till the end… but didn’t win.  Oh well.
